BEWARE - obfuscated file location

MyPublisher is not a typical application - it hides YOUR project files in locations that are not accessible to the average user. In the event that you have a hardware problem and need to recover from a system or hard drive failure - you are screwed. There is no way to ensure that your working project is getting backed up in Time Machine or that you can manually find and recover the files from a damaged stargae device.

The support is poor. It is apparent that they are a Windows focused product and that Mac is an after-thought (if any thought is given at all). There is no knowledgebase or FAQ to assist the user on their support page. All in all - it is a poorly supported application for Mac users. iPhoto, Aperture and even Lightroom are much better products for creating Books.

Until MyPublisher fixes this - and uses the Documents folder or a MyPublisher folder under Documents - I would avoid this application.
